My Existence

A little about me... I'm a 24 year old female from Nova Scotia Canada, currently living in Calgary, Alberta. As of 07/07/07 I am the wife to most incredible man alive. We both recently graudated from Dalhousie with BScs and diplomas in DH. I am anxious to start my career as a professional bull rider...as of now it's off to a slow start.

I'm Back

It finally happened, I have high-speed internet again. Hooray!!!! We're all moved in to our town house and loving it. One thing that is really crappy though is the heat. It is so hot and humid out here that I dread going outside. For the past few days I have taken cold showers. I am sticky all the time and this morning it was so bad my eye lashes were sticking to my cheeks. And another complaint would be Calgary transit, it is the worst I have seen. Now on to the positive. I love Calgary, it is the only place I can wear my new cowboy hat and boots without getting weird looks. There are malls everywhere and the people are very friendly. I've had the chance to hang out with my brother and sister-in-law, and just have a good bit of relaxation before the start of my career. Tomorrow is the start of a full fledged job hunt. I've had an offer, but it is halfway across the city and I am not sure I can get there, so tomorrow I am hoping on the c-train and seeing just how long the commute will be. It seems like such a great office with lots of extra benefits and it's a bit disheartening knowing deep down I am not going to be able to except the offer! Farron's applying for a really awesome job, fingers crossed he gets it!
And to finish things off, you know what really gets my goat? People who think they know more than anyone else. I took a CPR course yesterday and well there was a certain person there who thought they were the cats meow! Ahh they got under my skin so bad, I am still trying to shake it out. I think I need to take some stress/annoyance management classes. Do they even exist?

Invest in an air conditioner! Seriously. I remember when I lived in Sackville it was so hot I thought I was going to die...and I know it's even hotter in Calgary. Go to the mall alot too...it's always cool there. LOL
I saw pictures of your house on Facebook. It looks awesome. Glad you guys found such a nice place so fast. :-)
