Center Stage

Ever since I can remember I have been fascinated with bull riding. I use to watch it some Sunday nights with my Dad, and I'd ask all kinds of questions as to what was going on and the like. And I always secretly thought I would good at it, lol. Anyways, lately I have been thinking about this passion and decided I really do want to be a bull rider when I grow up. Seriously!!! I have it all planned out in my head. I will go to a few Calgary Stampedes, find someone who will train me and the rest will be history. I have started day dreaming about it and telling Farron all the details. Like the first time I am in a competition I will win. And it will be at the Calgary Stampede. All my family will be there cheering me on, well probably not mom she wouldn't be able to stomach it that thought of seeing me being trampled by a less than tame bull. Anyways, I will win so at the closing ceremonies I will take my stand on the podium which will be made of three barrels, mine being the bigger one in the middle of course and I'll wave my rope, instead of roses, in the air in triumph. And everyone will be amazed because I am a women registered dental hygienist, who just picked bull riding up and I am a pro already! Okay okay so maybe I have too much time on my hands. But I really really want to do this and I am so not kidding. I secretly think it runs in my family, it's just no one actually tried it to see if we were any good. One of my uncles who lives in Toronto thinks he's a cowboy, so who knows maybe it actually was meant to be. And if I die in my first attempt at least my kids will know it doesn't run in the family.
