My Existence

A little about me... I'm a 24 year old female from Nova Scotia Canada, currently living in Calgary, Alberta. As of 07/07/07 I am the wife to most incredible man alive. We both recently graudated from Dalhousie with BScs and diplomas in DH. I am anxious to start my career as a professional bull rider...as of now it's off to a slow start.

Thursday Thirteen (Unofficial)

Since Farron and I just got engaged (woot woot!) I thought I'd dedicate this entry to him. So here are 13 things I love about him

1. He gives the best hugs ever
2. He knows everything (except what gobsmacked meant, lol), seriously he's like a walking encyclopedia
3. He has really good taste when it comes to woman's jewels
4. He never gets stressed, which is great cause I stress enough for the both of us
5. He can cook up a storm and does so fairly often...okay daily
6. He helps with all the housework..when we get around to doing it
7. He loves me as I am and doesn't make me feel insecure or bad because I'm not a size 2
8. He gets along great with my parents and my friends
9. He's normal...well half anyways, lol
10. He's not afraid of anything
11. He's HOT
12. He laughs at me in the sweetest way
13. The way he smiles at me in the morning
Awwww.....
He's the bestest, I love you babe. I can see him blushing now as he reads this.

How weird am I?

I have been tagged by Twyla to do this "6 weird things about you" meme.
Here are The Rules:

Each player of this game starts with the “6 weird things about you”. People who get tagged need to write a blog of their own 6 weird things as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names. Don’t forget to leave a comment that says “you are tagged” in their comments and tell them to read your blog.

So here's my list...

1. I can not eat at Boston Pizza because I worked there for a short time this summer and realized how disgusting restaurant kitchens are, yet I can eat at anyother place.

2. If I fall asleep on the couch and wake up in the middle of the night I have to turn the bedroom light on to make sure Farron is there and that it's him, not some stranger.

3. When I was younger I had my room covered in pictures and when I got undressed I felt like they were watching me.

4. Sometimes when I'm watching movies for the second time I actually convince myself the ending will be different this time.

5. I'm scared of escalators..it's getting better but I still get a little nervous when I see them and can not get on one if I can't hold on to the rail

6. I can't stay home alone, well I can but I am terrified and have to have the door locked no matter what time of day....

6 1/2 years later

He did it...Farron proposed!!! Lastnight down on one knee Farron asked me to be his wife. He seemed a bit nervous and after a few seconds of popping the question he had to ask me if I'd said yes or not, lol. We're getting married July 10th 2008. I haven't stopped smiling, seriously my cheeks were aching this afternoon. I am so excited I feel like I am glowing, on the inside and out. I love Farron to death, and can not imagine living life without him. He makes me complete and I can not wait to spend the rest of my life with him. The only down fall, my hand hurts this ring is so damn big, lol.

The Thigh Difference

Over the week-end Farron and I went Christmas shopping and he tried on a pair of pants. The pants weren't baggy like the rest of his pants so I was actually able to see the size/shape of his legs, at which pointed I noticed how tiny his thighs were. So I said to him "Wow, your thighs are so small, my legs wouldn't fit in those." To which he responded"I would hope not." At first I took offense thinking that he was implying I was fat (as I usually do). However, he soon clarified he just meant woman are suppose to have bigger thighs than men. I find this a bit perplexing and am just curious if this is so, or a myth he is telling me in hopes of not stirring up the fear within me that I am fat.
On another note exams are off in full force. I wrote one on tuesday which went really well, thanks to Teanne's help. And tomorrow I write my second one, which is only worth 10% so I am not too concerned...what else...oh yeah less than a week and a half before this term is over and I am free for Christmas!!!!
Well I am off to commence the studies for another night. Hopefully, I won't oversleep tomorrow as I did today..oops.

Finding things to do

I write the first of 10 exams this tuesday and yesterday instead of studying I went to the mall...twice!!! It seems I have the gift of finding things to do other than school work. This blog is a prime example, right now I should be reading my perio. notes, but no no here I sit writing away. And next I am going to take a long shower, followed by a little cleaning, maybe an outting and then maybe just maybe I will be able to concentrate long enough to read more than one page, but I am doubtful.
I can not wait for it all to be over. Less than 2 weeks to go, hooray. I really can not believe how fast this semester has gone by. I am so excited I am finally starting to enjoy what I do. And I no longer get as nervous as I use to and sometimes I even feel like I actually know what I am doing and sometimes I feel like I am doing it right, lol.
Anyways, enough rambling. I guess I should at least try and study.

24 days

I'm so excited about Christmas this year!!! I mean normally I get excited, but this year I just can not wait. Only one week of classes left, then a week of exams and then I am home. I seriously can not wait, and I'm not sure why. I'm so looking forward to the holidays!
Tomorrow is NO TAX day at the mall so I will be off in search of Christmas, as well as birthday, surprises for Farron. Men are soo hard to buy for. At times like this I wish I was dating a woman, LOL.
