Stick it to the Man

So the other day I was craving ice cream like crazy, so I told Farron I'd treat him to an ice cream over our lunch break at school. So at lunch we trot over to the ice cream place at the IWK, it's a new little shoppe that sells ice cream, slush, and pizza. People in our class are always ranting about how good the ice cream is so I was so excited to finally be trying it. I had my flavour all picked out I was getting arctic orange, it looked so good on the sign, it was vanilla soft serve with orange ripples all around it, oh I could almost taste it. So I walk up to place my order and tell the punk what I want and he responds with "Oh we don't have any ice cream today." My jaw dropped, I was seriously dumbfound what kind of ice cream place doesn't sell ice cream???
Anyways, I was in such a bad mood after that. So at the end of the day I was still craving ice cream so we decide to go to Dairy Queen and indulge in a blizzard. I decided to try the new Caramel Chocolate chip cheese quake blizzard and so didn't Farron. So we sit down to eat them and once again are sadly disappointed, it was vanilla ice cream with chocolate bits in it, hardly any caramel and literally no cheese quake at all. We eat about a third and keep complaining about how there is nothing in it. So for once in our lives we decide to stick it to the man and get what we actually wanted!! We are so tired of getting walked on in life, we finally decided to stand up for this one little thing, and take it out on the poor Dairy queen workers. We went to the counter and in a nice way told the girl there was no cheesequake in the blizzards, she's like, " Oh well sometimes the machine just grinds them up." We remain quiet and finally she offers to make us new ones. We except and this time they were sensational, chunks galore, swirls and swirls of caramel, and chocolate bits everywhere. It was so good and felt nice to finally stand up for ourselves in this small way. Glad the machine didn't grind up the chunks this time, lol.
