Here I Sit
Today was lovely, up at 7:05 had to catch my bus at 7:35!!! Then class from 8-1pm, meeting from 1 - 1:15, another meeting from 1:30 - 4:00pm, and now here I sit still at school waiting for Farron's meeting to end so we can go home.
On a plus note Teanne and I went to look at the Westin hotel lastnight in hope of finding a location for our grad supper. We both fell in love with the place and are hoping the class agrees with us. The location is perfect, the venue is beautiful, the planner seems genuine, there's lots of parking, discounts on rooms, and they'll do everything for us!!! I am so looking forward to the taste testing :)
I can not wait for graduation, literally I can not wait to set foot out of this place and I vow I will never have anything to do with Dalhousie University again. This is an accredited university which means we have to meet certain requirements in order to graduate. Well it just so happens one requirement is to complete a certain amount of a certain type of client, and well they do not have the supply of patients to go around which means a number of us students will not meet this requirement in time line we have been given. And they are doing nothing that we can see to fix this and try try as we may there is nothing we can do to help the situation either....crappy.
Oh well enough complaining...I'm really not this cranky all the time. I just find this a really good place for me to vent. I am so looking forward to Christmas, I can not wait to come home. This Christmas is going to be so exciting I get to spend it with all 4 of my niece and nephews!!! However, Aaron and Tanya are moving in to their new house and can't make it home so that's a bit of a downer. I am so excited about driving around and seeing all the lights, eating lots of turkey, visiting friends, wrapping a few presents, and going shopping for Mom with Dad :)
