My Existence

A little about me... I'm a 24 year old female from Nova Scotia Canada, currently living in Calgary, Alberta. As of 07/07/07 I am the wife to most incredible man alive. We both recently graudated from Dalhousie with BScs and diplomas in DH. I am anxious to start my career as a professional bull rider...as of now it's off to a slow start.

What a night!! Last night I went bowling for the first time in years and had the time of my life. I forgot how much I love to bowl, I'm not very good but it's so much fun especially if the people you're with suck too. Amanda and Emily's idea of speed bowling was great and fun and a work out. And I kicked Jamie's butt with left handed bowling and Farron and I beat the pants off Kristin and Brad, well we beat them but not by much.
Ahh it is so nice not having to study.....having fun is a lot better!!!

St.Patty's day was great!! I finally got out of the house lastnight and went to a party. It was lots of fun, it was so nice to not be studying or worrying about clinic. It really took my mind off things and I had a good few laughs, it's been so long since I've had the time to actually enjoy myself, or since I've had the opportunity to relax!!! Unfortunately, now I'm back to reality. My stomach has the worse anxious feeling in it ever. I'm really worried about an uncoming test, I've been putting off studying for it but I guess I should go get to it....
Why is it you can only do what you really want to do less than you can do what you don't want to do even though you ultimately decide what to do?

Cadavers...Yesterday I was in my gross anatomy class of the head and neck feeling just fine. Then it came time to go to the lab, which is a large room filled with skeletons, dissected cavers, heads, hearts, lungs, and brains. This normally doesn't bother me because it's chilly in there and the smell is to a minimum. However, yesterday it was extremely warm in there and the stench was unreal. Even so my stomach was still holding up fairly well as the instructor pointed out several structures on the dissected neck of the caver. But then for some reason he decides to open up the chest cavity taking out the liver(which is huge!!!), heart, lungs, and moving around the intestines. Well I felt so faint, I started getting extremely hot, and light headed and felt like I was going to lose my breakfast. I survived after sitting down for a second and then leaving early. Gross anatomy...not the best class to have at 8:00 in the morning...thank you DAL.
